Amanda Wentz

Amanda Wentz is a passionate artist who has cultivated her love for drawing since early on. She honed her skills by studying illustration and printmaking at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, CA. Her journey into the public eye began at the annual Red Bluff Bull and Gelding Sale’s western Art Show. With her initial success, Amanda’s artistic repertoire expanded to encompass logo design and captivating horse portraits.

In 2017, Amanda took on the role of illustrator for the children’s book titled “Do You Ever Wonder What Happens in the Barnyard at Night?”, a charming collaboration with author Christina Taber. This delightful book is available on Amazon and showcases Amanda’s artistic talent in a new light.

Recent achievements have solidified Amanda’s presence in the art world. Her distinctive artwork graces the 2023 Art of the Cowgirl program and other associated merchandise. Notably, her creative vision also came to life on the 2023 poster and t-shirt design for the Outside Circle Show held in Elko, NV. These accomplishments underscore her growing influence and recognition within the western art community.

Beyond her artistic endeavors, Amanda leads a rich and dynamic life. Her connection to the Western lifestyle runs deep, as she actively engages in training ranch horses and contributes to the operations of her boyfriend’s family ranch situated in the picturesque mountains of Northern California. In a testament to her commitment to community and service, Amanda also serves as a firefighter with the volunteer fire department.
